Hat was uncomfortably itchy for me but I was able to return for credit
I am so glad I got this Bucket Hat! It is a Beautiful Handmade piece that I will enjoy wearing for a very long time. The fit is great. I have long wavy curly hair and could have fit in the medium size but something told me I might want to get a Large so I did. I'm glad I chose the Large. It has a nice wide elastic band sewn inside that helps give a good fit even if it were too big. I wear this hat all the time when outside to help keep sun out of my eyes and off my face. It does a good job of that. You can even bend the rim up if you like for a different look. I love that my purchase of this hat helps to support the women that make these. They also make other handmade items like other types of hats and bags, leather wallets, and more. I also have their "Summer Bucket Hat" which is a solid natural color. I absolutely love them both! You can even pack them up when traveling if you need to.
This is my 2nd purchase of the Minga Bucket Hats. The colors are vibrant and I love looking at the stitching together of the different color blocks. Just a really pretty well-made hat that I will enjoy for many, many years to come. I got this hat in Size Large because I have kinda thick wavy hair and was just on the cusp of size Large in the measurements. It has an elastic band sewn inside that helps give it a comfortable, secure fit just like the other one. These are NOT thin like straw. They actually have some weight to them and feel strong. I am again, SO HAPPY with my purchase of these Hats! The ladies that make them have a wonderful talent. It's great that buying their hats and other items they make, helps support them and their craft. I hope my pics are helpful. Selfies are hard to do.
