Bamboo brushes are one of my favs and I especially love this one. I’ve noticed there’s a good amount of space between the bristles which greatly limits hair fallout!
I have very straight, fine, long hair, and this brush is perfect for it. It detangles very well with very little breakage, wet or dry, and puts a nice shine on my hair to boot.
Almost everything about this brush is great, and I would definitely prefer this brush over any other on the market that I've seen. However, the flexible rubbery pad with the hole in it makes the bristles move in relation to the base and the volume under the pad collects water and then grows mildew and smells very bad. It would be much better to just have the bristles spring directly out of the bamboo base and have fairly wide holes or notches in the base so air and quality can travel through. Other than that the only improvement I could suggest is have a 5/8" hole in the handle so it could be hung on a thick hook. If you can make those two improvements I will buy two more. Thank you.
Honestly this hairbrush is amazing. I have very fine hair and have been using a Wet Brush for the past 8 years. I wanted to go plastic free. I had a bamboo hairbrush from ZWS a few years ago but it had the balls on the end of the bristles that were hard to get through my hair without ripping at it. I was hesitant to buy this brush because the bristles seemed more aggressive. I was totally wrong. If you brush from the bottom and work upwards this is the best hairbrush I’ve ever had. It’s sturdy and the bristles aren’t too sharp, they give me a nice scalp message, but they also do not rip through your hair. I adore this brush and will never go back to any others. I am about to order more to have around in a few places I travel to.
Great Hair Brush!
