It was a little smaller than I expected, but it is for cats, after all. :) My shy kitty responds really well to it and I love the classic design.
Feels good quality, the kitties like it too. The handle feels secure and smooth wood. The little design on the handle is adorable. Not as good at reducing shedding as specialty brushes, but helpful.
My cats didn't seem to like it at first, but after brushing them a few times, I think they are okay with it now. Not sure that it really helps with shedding, but does smooth out their hairs very well.
My cat's fur is very fine and silken, so it takes a lot of strokes to really grab the loose fur and pull dander through. The bristles are just so soft. It is still slightly more effective than the metal brush and grooming gloves I have tried, though, and she tolerates this brush for much longer than any other tool.
The brush is beautifully made out of sleek wood. It is a bit on the smaller side. The only reason for four stars is that the bristles are very soft , if that's what you're looking for great if not then it diminishes the usefulness of brush.
the traditional wire brush did not work well to bring out the extra hair my cat was obviously shedding. I had hoped that this brush would, but it doesn't work well on either of the cats. Cute concept, bad execution.
I love this brush! It's so much softer than I was anticipating and picks up way more hair off of my cat than my old plastic/rubber brush. I love it so much and I think my cat definitely prefers it as well.
