Homemade All-Purpose Cleaner

There are SO MANY different types of all-purpose cleaners on the market. The problem is, ingredients found in common household products have been linked to all kinds of health problems such as asthma, reproductive disorders, hormone disruption, and many more. What's lurking in your cleaning products?

Our zero waste DIY all-purpose cleaner has no harsh chemicals, is safe to use on every surface, is easy to make, and it works!

  • You will need a large glass spray bottle. Simply add 1 cup white of distilled white vinegar, tablespoon of baking soda (for scrubbing power), cup of water, and a few drops of essential oils, to mask the vinegar smell, into the bottle. Our favorite is Lemon, Citrus or Tea Tree.
  • Another option is to collect your citrus peels and store them in an airtight glass container. When the container is full, cover the peels with distilled white vinegar and let it sit for about 2 weeks in a dark place. Once time is up, strain the peels into a glass spray bottle, add a 1:1 ratio of water to the vinegar.

Voila! You have yourself an aromatic all-purpose cleaner that is chemical free.

Use your all-purpose cleaner with our Un-paper Towels or our Bamboo Cloth Wipes to be even more eco-friendly!
