About This Item:

Did you know, according to the EPA, approximately 84% of donated textiles are thrown away each year? While such a large percentage of donated clothing is unwanted by consumers, there must be another use for all those items that no longer fit in our closets. Simply send your unloved or damaged items to For Days and let the circular economy begin. With the For Days Take Back Bag, not only do your unloved clothes and textiles get a new life, but you are rewarded for making an eco-friendly choice. With this $20 Take Back Bag, you will earn $30 in TrashieCash once they receive your items, which you can redeem on ZWS!

For Days accepts all textiles including: socks, undies, bedding, towels, linens, shoes, and handbags in any condition. This even includes textiles that are ripped, torn, or stained!

*Available for US customers only*

How to use:

Step 1: Order a Take Back Bag: Clean out your closet and fill your bag with up to 15 lbs of unwanted clothes, outerwear, shoes, handbags, sheets and towels. Women’s, Men’s or Kids, we take it all – just wash it first!

Step 2: Send It Back for Free: Scan the QR code on your bag for shipping instructions. The easiest option is to drop off your Take Back Bag at any Happy Returns location. Alternatively, you can print a mailing label for UPS. The QR code on your bag and the Happy Returns QR code are different.

Step 3: Get Rewarded: Receive $30 TrashieCash™ per bag to spend on rewards, including redeeming on ZWS!

Dimensions: 24” x 24”, holds up to 15lbs of textiles

Specifications: Did you know 85% of clothing ends up in landfills, including what gets donated? In 2023, The Take Back diverted 2.9 million pounds and 5.8 million items from landfills. Over 75% of these items were redistributed for reuse and more than 20% were recycled. Items recycled are turned into rags, shoddy, or insulation.

End of Life: The Take Back Bags are made of 50% post-consumer recycled content, they are fully recyclable, and we recycle 100% of Take Back Bags that are sent
back to us.

Good idea. BUT I'd rather get some actual cash back than get a few dollars toward BUYING MORE STUFF to have to deal with. Even a free bag for another round would be preferred to the bonus shopping dollars.

We're decluttering, and I'd already filled at least two trash bags with old towels, blankets, sheets, etc. before I decided to try zerowaste. Not sure I'll repeat.

For Days Take Back Bag - Textile Recycling Bag

I ordered this bag thrilled that I had found a solution to end of life for old clothes, but once I got the bag, I hit one red flag after another. 1: on the for days website it said you could link your card and track your emissions and I tried to link my card multiple times, even changed my bluebird password to try to link my card and I finally had to email the company to see what was going on, come to find out they no longer accept bluebird via American Express, 2: today I was going to scan the barcode on the bag to get ready to send it in and it said it would charge a dollar for the trial, 3: they don't offer the option to send the bag back to you so you can reuse it.
