"UGLY" Shampoo or Conditioner Bar

These smell amazing right out of the packaging! And even though imperfect, they are still so pretty with their vibrant colors. I haven't used them yet, but super excited to try them out. Love that ZWS doesn't just throw away products that are still usable.

I love the bars! Even if they’re “ugly” they work awesome, I had low expectations and ended up with high appreciation. Will be buying again.

So grateful for a company that makes these products available! I love shampoo and conditioner bars of all shapes and forms, including these ugly ones! I do wish there was a way to pick your scent but nonetheless, I'm grateful for the discounted and no waste products!

Take this review with a grain of salt, for years, I didn't even use shampoo or conditioner. But when someone tells you, "Someone should tell you this, your hair is greasy, gross, and so fragile from all the oil, you are going bald," then you start using shampoo and conditioner. So, with no bar of other products, I love these. They smell great, and I am extremely glad they don't involve plastic. The conditioner is kinda hard to apply to longer hair, but not terrible.

I try to buy 'ugly' bars whenever I can. They work just as well as the 'pretty' ones. And after a few uses, all the 'rough' edges are smoothed out, so you can't even tell they were once 'ugly'. Total deal!!

These are offered at a discount because there is probably a tiny dent or nick somewhere in the bar so it doesn't pass quality control. Amazing that the company offers them at a discount - such a steal! And if course, nothing wrong with the bars at all. We have been using these shampoo bars for 5+ years and they are our absolute favorite.

All the shampoo i received looked just like regular shampoo quality is the same as well. I bought 10 for about 6$ ish each

I used these shampoos and conditioners for a couple of years. I have thick hair and didn’t think they would work. These are perfect and are convenient bars that I can also take when I travel.

Really nice quality. Would like if the labeling what the bar was supposed to be instead of having to guess so if i really like a bar i know what to reorder.

This is the best my hair has ever been! A healthy amount of suds but not at all dry.

I've tried shampoo bars in the past and have been extremely disappointed. They left my hair stringy and waxy, and I could barely get them to lather. These bars, my friends, are game changers! They lather up so thick and rich and are easy to work through my hair. The scent is very pleasant and long-lasting, and they leave my hair feeling so soft and thick and actually healthy. Highly recommend the shampoo bars, and I just ordered a conditioner bar to pair with it!

These bars don't seem ugly to me. They come in pretty colors and lather nicely. I love getting shampoo that doesn't create any plastic waste.

Bars are small so it makes it seem expensive.

I really like shampoo and conditioning bars. I was really excited to see them offered again. I shared the bars with 2 of our adult children and they were thrilled with them. Thank you for a great product!

I already love the ZWS shampoo and conditioner bars, so what's not to love about the ugly bars! I like the minimal packaging and sustainability of using the "ugly products."

I ordered two. Got one of the bars I usually order, so it was nice, and the other one seems like it’ll help with my hair concerns too. I love that they sell seconds — it’s very sustainable. :) I do wish they didn’t cap orders at 2 bars. While that would be less fair, I think shipping less packages by way of people ordering in greater quantity would be better for the earth.

Honestly a huge pain to have a whole bottle. This stuff works great and it is much more convenient!

Bought after receiving a notification from ZWS that the *ugly* condtioner was back in stock! Very impressed with the conditioner. I have fine, long hair that also manages toi be wavy, dry and damaged so I need a lot from hair products. This conditioner bar smelled lovely ( a mix of all the best ?) and not only rinsed film-free but also left me hair very soft and shiny. Bonus is that a small bar lasts a LONG time. We've had the same one for 3 months and are only halfway through.

I had no idea these small bars would deliver such a delightful hair care experience. I was really impressed by the amount of rich lather that was produced when I rubbed the shampoo bar over my waist length hair. The smell was amazing. My hair felt truly clean.
I followed with the conditioner bar and was equally impressed with the result. My hair was as easy to comb through as if I used my regular conditioner.
I will be sure to use these bar shampoos in the future to cut down on plastic waste. As a bonus, they take up less room in my shower also!
