Description

This zero waste, vegan dish washing block will change the way you forever wash your dishes! Our No Tox Life dish block produces a sudsy lather, and cuts stubborn grime and grease on your dirty dishes. The moisturizing coconut oil prevents your hands from drying out.

This amazing all-in-one block will also take stains out of laundry, labels off of jars, spot clean your carpet or couch, and will clean your counter tops.

The full size, multi-purpose block is 7.5 oz and will last up to 6 months, depending on usage, and with proper draining. If you use a sponge instead of a brush, it will last much longer!

Our sample sizes vary from 2-6 ounces, most being 3-4 ounces. Most samples are very regularly shaped with some imperfections, and some are crazy shaped and/or come in a few pieces. Each one is unique, with different widths. These are the manufacturers "uglies" that still work the same and are great for those wanting to try it out for the first time or to convert friends or family to a more eco-friendly option! Sample sizes greatly vary in size but most will last a single person who hand washes all dishes about 2-3 months. If you use a sponge instead of a brush, it will last longer!

Add on: Pair with our Loofah Scrubber to get all of your dishes, pots, and pans squeaky clean! Pair with our Soap Lift to keep it high and dry so it lasts

How to use: Wet sponge or scrubber of choice and rub directly onto dish block to create suds. Wash & rinse. Works in both warm or cold water. We prefer warm water for best results. Keep bar dry by pairing with our Soap Lift and placing it in a bowl

Ingredients: 100% biodegradable coconut-based cleansers: sodium cocoate*, sodium cocoyl isethionate*, decyl glucoside*, quillaja saponaria extract**, glycerin*, aloe vera, purified water, sodium carbonate

This soap is awesome!

Lathers up really well and cleans just as well as the brand name liquid dish soap it replaced. I've only been using it for about 3 weeks so I don't have a good sense yet of how long the bar will last but it will clearly take a while to get through it all, even with all the dirty dishes our household produces.

Just what I needed

I ordered the sample, and it's a decent size bar and will last a while. I use it with a scrubby brush or reusable sponge, and it works well on dishes. Also not drying out my hands. :) Will order the larger bar when this is gone.

Trying to be plastic free

As much as I want to ditch the plastic and go to zero waste I cannot give this dish soap any high marks. It leaves a film on everything and It just doesn’t cut the grease. I want to like the product but just can’t. I hope you are able to come up with an improved formula. Will be watching!

Save Soap, Eliminate Bottles!

I bought the Dish Washing Block when I moved into a new house. I have been happy with how it performs. I keep it on a screen above a stainless soap dish, and when I need lots of suds, I pour the accumulated 'soap sludge' from the dish into my washcloth or scrub brush. For normal washing of a couple items, I just run the bottle brush over the top of the block. This item has worked great, and has helped me keep my new home nearly Zero Waste!

Good But Could Be Better

The whole zero waste concept is awesome but when you wash dishes with the block, it has a funny smell. It doesnt smell gross but it doesnt smell good either. If there was a way to add a scent to it that would be great. Also, sometimes it leaves behind what seems to be dried bubbles giving it a foggy color. But if you scratch it off it looks clean. So not a bad review but some constructive criticism. Will continue to use this however because of the zero waste packaging.
