Add texture or volume to straight hair, tame flyaways and frizz, or enhance and define curls. Using aloe as the main ingredient, this product moisturizes and nourishes hair it will nourish and while adding control.
Directions: Start with a pea sized amount of gel in your hands, and rub between your hands to warm it up. Work through hair starting at the back of the head while working your way forward and through hair ends. Use on wet or damp hair to smooth and tame frizz, add volume, or to define curls. For volume, apply a small amount to damp hair concentrating on roots. Over direct the hair at the roots and blow dry with a round brush.
~Tip: To define curls and coils, add a drop of the beauty oil and gently spiral fingers around individual ringlets or scrunch for beach waves.

I like evrything about this gel such as smell, consistency, and hold. What brakes it is that if you move the hair you've applied the gel to it flakes! Perhaps a blonde can get away with it, but not a brunette like me. The flaking is bad.
I really loved the smell of it, but I feel like the hold could be better. It didn't make my hair crunchy, which was nice, but sadly it irritated my scalp and I had to stop using it. I do have a sensitive scalp, so I don't think that had anything to do with the gel itself. I do wish there was a fragrance-free option I could try! It's nearly impossible to find clean/fragrance-free/zero-waste products.
Hi would like to start off saying that I’m a long time user of this gel. I love the fact that I can send back empty bottle. The gel itself works well for my cantankerous hair. I have thick shoulder length wavy hair that is hard to please. Works well to control hair on most days. My only negative is that the gel leaves the hair looking dry. Ideally I would like something that added some shine.
A great styling gel! My curls have been looking great. I was a little surprised by the smell (almost smells like a jalapeno marg to me) but I don't hate it.
I love Plaine Product's! They're my go to for hair products. Their options always smell great and you can easily use these bottles as is or fill into another container, which is great for travel. I also love that you can send the aluminum bottles back to them.
I was a consistent la looks green goop user growing up. i use the dip conditioners but use this gel when i want more definition. i highly recommend, noticeable difference in my curl definition. not as super amazing as some other gels but doesn't get weird/artificially crunchy. i have really dark brown hair and have never experienced flaking with this product. started out with the sample and then moved on to bigger size as i was completely satisfied. i might start trying to make my own flaxseed gel soon for budget reasons but this is still fab.
Works just as good as regular styling gels, smells amazing and I love the packaging. I haven’t noticed any flaking as another reviewer stated and my hair is a reddish brown. Will be my regular
