myMerino comforters should not be washed, as the organic Merino wool fibers may interlock and shrink, potentially making the comforter unusable.

Why organic Merino wool is not washable?

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) prohibits the use of washable wool treatments; therefore, we are unable to offer machine-washable Merino wool.

Can you machine dry myMerino comforter?

You may tumble dry myMerino comforter on an air-only cycle with no heat. Using heat can cause the comforter to shrink.

myMerino Comforter has a stronger wool scent than expected—what can I do?

The natural scent of Merino wool is a sign that you're getting an authentic organic product, free from harmful chemicals, toxins, and synthetics. The natural wool aroma usually fades within a few days after opening. To help it air out more quickly, you may hang the comforter outside in the sun for a few hours or tumble dry it on air-only (no heat) setting.

Merino wool is considered to be one of the finest and softest wool fibers.The Merino sheep are bred predominantly for its prized wool. It is also famous for being light in weight moisture absorbent, offering astounding insulating properties.

Shropshire sheep are considered a "dual purpose" breed: it has been used for wool as well as meat production. Shropshire wool is shorter, thicker and springier, making it an ideal choice for our myBedding collection.

Nice blanket but can’t go in the washing machine

I bought this mainly because I was tired of dealing with duvets and I thought this would be a great option for the summer.
I should have read this earlier that the blanket can’t go in the washing machine. The options they give for washing don’t work when your dog pee’s on the bed. I guess it’s ruined now. Haven’t even had it a weak. See pick … this was a king size
