Customers praised this plastic-free hemp dog bone for its durability, with one noting it's "tough" even for aggressive chewers. Made from 100% sustainable, compostable materials with organic cotton stuffing, shoppers appreciated the eco-friendly alternative to synthetic toys. Dogs loved it for fetch and comfort. No squeaker makes it quiet. Fast shipping noted.
- It's durable but not too hard for them to chew. It's holding up so well!
- The second I showed him this bone, he took it immediately. He LOVES it.
- It's incredibly durable and he has not pulled out any stitching or any of the filling.
We gave the hemp dog bone a try, as my Australian Cattle Dog chews a laundry list of items he's not supposed to! The hemp dog bone held up surprisingly well to our loves-to-tear-it-apart pup! Beyond how durable the hemp dog bone is, the stuffing - simple organic cotton.. was tossed into our garden heap after they finally chewed a small hole. Would be incredible for young puppies as even our German Shepherd battled to chew the hole!
Hi Shelby - We're so glad to hear your pup enjoyed this toy!
Very cute bone toy, my dogs love it. Easy on the ears since it doesn't have a squeaker. Lightweight but durable.
Yay to no squeakers, am I right?! We're so glad you and your pup are happy with the hemp toy.
Super cute toy and my dog loves it! It doesn’t have a squeaker which I love, since my dogs tend to try to rip out the squeaker as soon as they get a new toy.
HI Ally - so glad you and your pup love our hemp toy!
The Plush Hemp Dog Bone Toy from The Kind Pet is everything I’ve been searching for. Most dog toys are made with synthetic materials like polyester (which is just plastic in disguise), shedding microplastics right into our pets' mouths—yikes! But this toy? It’s a game-changer.
Made from 100% plastic-free, sustainably sourced materials, this hemp bone is the perfect alternative to traditional pet toys made with plastic and therefore, filled with chemicals. My pup instantly knew it was hers—she loves playing fetch with it, and when we’re not playing, she snuggles up with it like a comfort toy. 💚🐾
Beware of greenwashing when shopping for "eco-friendly" pet toys! Many brands market their products as sustainable simply because they’re made from recycled plastic bottles or "ocean-bound plastic." While recycling sounds great, these toys are still plastic, meaning they still contain chemicals that can shed microplastics right into your pet’s mouth with every chew. Worse yet, if your dog manages to rip the toy open—like so many do—they risk ingesting not just the plastic fibers but also the synthetic stuffing and plastic squeaker inside. Beyond harming your pet, these plastic-based toys also contribute to plastic dust in our homes, contaminating our indoor air and adding to overall pollution. True sustainability means choosing natural, non-toxic materials that are safe for both our pets and the planet—not just repackaging plastic waste as "green."
As a conscious consumer, I appreciate The Kind Pet for making sustainable, non-toxic pet products that align with my values. If you're looking for an eco-friendly dog toy that’s safe, sustainable, and pet-approved, this is it! 🌎♻️🐕
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!
My girls love their cute hemp dog toy! It's durable but not too hard for them to chew. It's holding up so well!
Hi Katarina, thank you for leaving such a lovely review! We are so happy to hear that your girls are loving their new hemp dog toy. Our team puts a lot of effort into making sure our products are durable yet gentle for your furry friends. We are thrilled to know that it's holding up for your girls. Thank you for choosing our product and we hope your girls continue to enjoy it!
The dog loves it! I love it because of that and because it is compostable. The Kind Pet customer service was very gracious in addressing a concern that I had; this impressed me enough to enlist me as a future customer (already making Chanukah and Christmas gift-buying lists).
Oh yay! That makes me so happy to hear. I'm thrilled that you were happy with our service and the bone :)
We don't have our little bichon frise puppy yet but we're getting her in just a few days. So, we don't know how much she'll like the hemp toy yet. However, when I asked the breeder what the puppy likes to chew on now, the breeder said, "Anything she can get her mouth on". That lets me know there's a really good chance she'll love this toy, which should save our shoes and other things around the house. Everything we're buying this puppy is made of natural fibers, so we're very excited to find this toy made of hemp.
Hi Rose! We hope your new pup enjoys the toy!
Very cute bone toy, my dogs love it. Easy on the ears since it doesn't have a squeaker. Lightweight but durable.
Yay to no squeakers, am I right?! We're so glad you and your pup are happy with the hemp toy.
Our pitbull mix Jake is picky about his toys. The second I showed him this bone, he took it immediately. He LOVES it. He will even bring it to my husband to play with him. He's never done that with a toy before. I also love that this is a plastic-free toy that I can compost when Jake has torn it apart.
i seriously can’t believe how fast the shipping was! my pup was super happy with her new toys! thanks so much for creating plastic free items!
My dog loves the toy which is surprising because he usually doesn’t like smaller toys like that! It hasn’t ripped yet which is awesome because he tears stuff up all the time.
We have a small Jack Russel Terrier mix who looooooves his toys. We feel so much more comfortable giving him this toy over the others now knowing it's free of plastic and the materials are natural. Remy has been carrying this bone around for weeks now and won't let us touch it! It's incredibly durable and he has not pulled out any stitching or any of the filling. He's super happy!
