Description

Our zero waste hand soap paste dissolves to make up to one gallon of liquid hand soap! All-natural, unscented, hand soap bar dissolves that you can use to refill your own foamers and soap dispensers (works best in foam dispenser!) Add your favorite essential oil blend for scent.

This homemade paste bar is no bigger than a deck of cards, about 3.5oz. It is concentrated paste and easy cut off into smaller pieces. You can dissolve the entire bar or dissolve small amounts to make the amount of liquid hand soap you need. Perfect for bathrooms, kitchens, and your office!

How to use: Must dilute first! You determine the dilution ratio based on how bubbly you like your hand soap. A good starting dilution ratio is to cut the bar into 6-8 equal parts. Drop one part into 2-4 cups of water. Let sit until dissolved, 15-30 minutes. Add more if desired. Add 5 - 10 drops of your favorite essential oils for scent. Fill your reusable dispenser and tah-dah!

Since this is made with all-natural ingredients, it is a watery consistency*

Ingredients: Coconut oil, olive oil pomace, jojoba oil, almond oil, glycerin, aloe vera, and rosemary oleoresin.

Box is made with 75% post-consumer waste and can be composted.

Works well but not for big containers

I hate paying for liquid hand soap since the first ingredient is always water and refills come in big plastic jugs, no thanks! This seemed like a perfect alternative and it does work once you get the right soap to water ratio. Unfortunately, the dissolved soap all sinks to the bottom, so if you don't shake it back up every time you use it, you end up using way too much soap and then are left with a lot of water in your dispenser. This might work for folks with a smaller dispenser or a different type than my standard pump-style. The soap cleaned really well and was gentle on my skin so hopefully this can be reformulated someday so it works perfectly with all dispensers and in large bottles.

Cost Effective

I like this product but I would suggest getting a foam dispenser as suggested. Great way to save money and not use plastic!

Love the concept, not sure if I love it

I read that a foaming pump is best for this (after I bought it) but I love the low waste packaging and idea of it. It was very easy to put together but in an old face wash pump, it feels like we have to use a lot to get hands really clean. Hoping that when we get a foam pump, it will be a little easier to use!

Turns Water into Cloudy Water

I had high hopes for this product since I was looking for a zero waste hand soap option that uses a dispenser. This turned plain water into...cloudy water. No lather, no suds. Great idea in theory but now the rest of the bar will be wasted. It’s not zero waste if it doesn’t function appropriately. I found another inventive “just add water” option from a company that sells tablet-sized refills for pump hand soap, and it’s been amazing!

Great idea, but not for me

I really love the idea behind it, but that's it. It's too watery (I even messed with the soap to water ratio) and causes more of a mess. I felt like I was pumping more and going through the product faster.
