Product Care:
Store the container upright in a cool, dry indoor location away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, and children. Keep the lid closed between deposits and protect the liner, return label, and instructions from damage. Do not alter the UN-certified container or exceed the 10-pound limit. Contact TerraCycle before adding leaking, swollen, damaged, recalled, or otherwise unsafe batteries.
End of Life:
Do not empty the collected batteries into household trash or curbside recycling. Seal and return the complete container according to the supplied instructions. At the processing facility, conforming batteries are inspected, sorted, sized, and processed to recover usable metals and metal oxides.
