Countertop Compost Bin - Bamboo Fiber Composter, Dishwasher Safe, 1.25 Gal.,

This looks nice but doesn’t hold up. I’ve had for over a year and it’s cracked multiple times. Tried to fix but the body keeps cracking.

Since we started using the compost bin we have reduced our garbage output significantly - from multiple bags of trash to less than one bag per week. Our food scraps go in and when filled we either take them to our local composter or place them in our own composting bin. Easy to clean either in the dishwasher or by hand. Not a fan of the carbon filter that needs to be replaced and is not compostable or recyclable. Other than that, love it!

It really is a good little thing. The carbon filter keeps things from stinking. It has held up great for the last few months. We have one in the kitchen for compost and I use another one for cloth toilet paper in the bathroom. Very cool that it’s not plastic.

We love our countertop composter to gather the meal prep ‘leavings’ and those after dinner scraps . The weight and size make it easy to carry the pail out to the compost bin when the pail is full. We have had this table top compost for several months. It's cute and the filters are great at keeping smells at bay. It does stain pretty easily on the inside (even the terracotta color!) So in hindsight I sort of wish I got a stainless steel bin with how often we compost because it's a little gross. That being said, I bought a second bin for my mom and she loves hers. And it is really cute and no smell is awesome!
