And foams like soap too, as in too much foam for toothpaste. As with several products on Zero Waste, there are other brands that unfortunately do it better.
I like these because they’re easy, no mess, and clean my teeth. Refills come in compostable bags and you don’t have to fight to get the last of the toothpaste out of a tube

This was my first time trying toothpaste tablets - also bought tubes, but looking for ways to cut down on my plastic waste. I am SO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED how much I love these tablets. Its like biting into a breath mint but as it crumbles I insert my wet electric toothbrush and brush away. It foams up, it has a great minty taste thats not too strong and my teeth feel SUPER clean afterwards. I am a convert!!
I am historically bad at dental hygiene. I have skipped flossing for months at a time, and although I manage to brush twice a day, I still get scolded by my dentist that I'm not doing it right. Enter the ZeroWaste Dental Hygiene Super Kit. Knowing that my good tooth habits can also be eco-conscious has made the process a lot more enjoyable. The charcoal floss is pretty durable, but soft, not sharp and stabby like plastic floss. The bamboo brush has soft bristles and does the job well. My new favorite is the Huppy toothpaste tablets. It is satisfying to chew them up, and they leave my teeth and gums feeling tingly clean. Lastly, the tongue scraper is an acquired taste, but after some practice, you realize there's a reason why people have used them for centuries. It's nice to have cleaner teeth and a cleaner Earth.
