I bought this bag so that I could wash microfiber cleaning cloths. The bag is so dense that in the washing machine none of the water spun out of the cloths so they were soaking wet at the end of the spinning cycle. I had to take them out of the bag and dry them multiple times. I cannot use this product and I do not recommend it.

i've been using these washing bags for years and also buy them to give to friends. most folks don't realize that washing synthetics (fleece, polyester, etc) pollutes our waterways - directly affecting wildlife. Guppyfriends bags are easy to use and protect against the plastification of our water! just remember to use in washer only, not dryer!

Best laundry bag I’ve used so far. It’s big, sturdy, clothes come out clean… and the bonus part is, it’s great for the environment. Definitely worth the money.

I love this idea but unfortunately, it didn't work with my washing machine! It doesn't do the best with machines that have the center spire and it got my machine so off-kilter that I couldn't open up the closet door to get to it and pull it out.

I did my laudry tthis week and as I was cleaning out the bag, I noticed a small rip in a newer bag.

I waited years before buying, but now that I have -- honestly, I can't tell that it's doing anything. Videos show you'll be able to get microplastic-y "lint" out of the bag, and I've never had that. So, I'm not saying it doesn't work -- I just can't tell. I think the Girlfriend attachment on your machine seems like it might be worth looking into instead.

I bought two to balance my top loader and wash more. I love it and will never wash synthetics without the bag. I sometimes turn the bags inside out and put them in the dryer to rent the lint

I was looking for a wash bag just like this, partly to separate clothes from the main wash that would be line dried after the wash (a fail safe visual so my husband knows not to put them in the dryer!) Thus bag definitively does the trick - it’s much bigger than I thought it would be so there’s plenty of room for the clothes inside to flop about. It seems to be made well.

I have several of the older version bags. Zipper broke quickly on one of them which was distressing since they are pricey bags. No response from company in inquiry. This version is much lighter and the zipper seems high quality. Time will tell. The bags collect the fibers very effectively. So far 5 stars.

I would just have to say that it is an extra added step sorting and putting your clothes in. Especially for a person with ADHD, I am leaning towards getting one of those filters you attach to your washing machine.

I did not realize how much polyester and spandex was in my clothing! Most of the time I get my clothing from the Goodwill. I have been trying to buy earth conscious and made in the usa clothing when I buy new clothes. It's underwear that gets you every time! They've all, even the cotton ones, got elastic or spandex in them. Same with T-shirts, so this little bag solves the problem of all the microfibers, which reminds me, you can now wash all those microfiber dust cloths we bought before we knew the damage they were doing! There is an added bonus to this bag, in that all the cotton fibers from the rest of the wash, end up on the outside of the bag and not on your black underwear and polyester blend dress.

It was the third bag I bought. I like them, but only last for about 8 months if used often. This particular bag came defective (the zipper was sawn wrong). I contacted the customer support, who asked me for pictures of the item. That was few weeks ago. I am still waiting for a response.

This is a new idea for me…catching microwaste. I’ve used washing bags to separate my laundry especially delicates. It is reassuring to know I am able to do even more for the environment so easily!

Easy to use and a good size, can fit a lot of clothes.

I purchased the bag in Dec 2021 and used it according to instructions. It was completely ripped and useless in Aug 2022. I received a replacement in September which is now starting to rip in Dec 2022. This is a very badly made product. While the concept is good, don't waste your money.

It works so well! This is a perfect fit for me while I'm transitioning to a plastic-free wardrobe, and for those sentimental pieces and jackets with which I just can't part. I highly recommend this item!

So this bag causes my front loader to display an error for unbalanced load. It may be fine if you have a small amount of synthetic clothes to wash. If you can split your load somehow and mix some natural fiber clothing outside the bag with some synthetics inside the fabric, it works okay. However, that is really time consuming and for the amount of laundry a household with children goes through, it is just not worth the effort. I wish I had just gotten a Cora ball or something like that. I know it’s less effective but at least I could get some use out of it with my baby’s diapers. Also as others said, my clothes don’t feel as clean when washed inside the bag. I have soft water and detergent is difficult to wash out and it’s easy for detergent residue to build up on my clothes. So yah, I wish I hadn’t wasted my money. Expensive product that just takes up space in my already small laundry room.

This does practically exactly what it says! The only thing I wish could improve is showing more details and information on WHAT to do with the micro-waste I accumulate for it to be disposed of properly. The other bonus that's nice is if you do install a better microfiber filter on your washing machine, you can just use this as a linen bag for delicates!

It's fine for a garment bag for delicates etc but I couldn't find anything to collect after using it for several loads. It limits the number of items I CAN wash at one time

The bags isn't big enough for large loads so you have to do more loads if you want to use the bag often. Also because all the clothes are within the bag I feel as if they don't get as clean because the clothes aren't free to be directly agitated in the water but still works for regular loads. I'm not sure how it would clean if clothes were heavily soiled. All in all it's meant for delicates and small loads.

I've used this for numerous washes now, and it's useful as a delicate bag. I have a hard time collecting fibers to dispose, so I'm just leaving them in the bag for now until there's a bigger amount to grab. I have noticed some lint fuzz seems to collect on the outside; I'm hoping it's just lint and not microfibers that are escaping the bag somehow. The biggest downside is that when the bag is 3/4 full, it's bulky and heavy, which throws my top-door washing machine off balance. Sometimes I don't have enough natural fiber laundry to counterbalance the Guppy bag. For that reason, I'd choose the ball catcher for convenience if I could start over.

I hate the flimsy feel of normal delicate washing bags, but this does the trick!

Although I have gradually switched to GOTS certified organic cotton clothing, I still have a few dresses that are made from Viscose / Tencel / Lyocell. At first, I was hesitant to try the GuppyFriend bags because I was afraid that items confined to the bags would not get as clean… I am so glad I finally gave these a try! Everything came out of the wash looking and smelling pristine :) I feel so good knowing I am no longer letting any synthetic micro fibers out into the world via my wash water. GuppyFriend bags are now a celebrated part of my laundry routine!! <3
