fun but moldy

My grandson has loved playing with therein the bath. We store them in the can and after having them about 5 months we noticed last night they were covered in black mold looking substance. It Tok a while to get off and I had to remove the paper. is this typical?

Awesome Product

Love the plastic free element and my child LOVES these. We had to switch to taking showers at the 2 year mark and these crayons have helped in that transition. These are so fun and well loved already, I'm going to need a new set soon! They are used everyday for showers. Thank you for an awesome product.

Wrapper appears to be covered in Mold spores.

Hey there! This white substance you are seeing is a process called blooming and is a natural process that happens to pure beeswax as the softer oils rise to the outside of the surface.

It’s completely harmless and can be wiped off with a soft cloth, there is also a note on the packaging about this :blush:

Fun but Time Consuming to Clean

My child had fun in the bath with these crayons. I felt comfortable knowing that the ingredients were not harmful to him as well. But it was time-consuming to clean. I found that a soft-sided sponge worked best.
