Tinted Moisturizing Sunscreen Stick, Broad Spectrum SPF 50, 1 oz

I bought this stick twice hoping it could redeem itself, but sadly has not.

The first time the dispenser worked and I was able to apply it like a stick, but the product was not mixed well and there were hard grains of something imbedded throughout that would scrape my skin.
I wanted to give it a second shot, so i ordered a refill. This time the product would not dispense. I even tried with pliers to turn the nut at the bottom, but it barely moved. I ended up scraping out the product with my finger like another customer did, but even then the formula didn't melt easily and was difficult to spread.

Sadly I have given up on this product unless they change. Once the product is on, its quite nice with good coverage and protection, but it shouldn't be this hard to apply my daily sunscreen.

This sounded perfect, espcially the plastic-free conatianer. The first time I used it, I could not make the product rise up with twisting the bootom ring. The “gear” is engaged, but repeated turning did not advaance the product, just spins around. I wound up kind of digging some out and applied it. The color is great, goes on easily and does not accumulate in skin folds. I just wish I could get it out. I have had identical problems with some refillils of similar metal deodorant containers and have had to dig out almost all the procuct and apply with my hand. This is so disappointing as I want to eliminate plastic. Maybe it’s a one-off, but reluctant to order a refill.

I had an immediate reaction to this sunscreen breaking out into hives. I was really excited but if you have senstive skin like me avoid this brand.

I use this stick every day, I never get sunburned no matter how much I'm out in the sun. It's super slick (and quite beautiful packaging) that fits right in my pocket. And it's refillable! I love the balmy texture. It's tinted but it doesn't really show up on my face, just gives me a nice glow. I am only using this for my SPF from now on!
