Not a chew toy

This toy is great for fetch for a big dog. But it's made of fibers. Fibers can rip your dog's instants. Do not leave your dog alone with this to chew up.
Great quality and doesn't leave a smell either

Glad to have purchased this

It was smaller than I thought, however our Rottweiler who loves to tear her toys apart started chomping merrily on it. Most cloth toys, even ones that say they’re tough dog toys, only last ten to twenty minutes with her. This one is still around a week later - woo hoo! She has some large rope toys that last a while - she loves to play tug with them and chews them apart gradually over time. This is a bit small for playing tug with a big dog, though it’s not impossible. I’m happy knowing that as she gradually chews this one apart, the parts she inevitably winds up ingesting are plant based, not synthetic.

Hemp ring toy

This toy is not made for Labs. The ring was ok but they chewed through the fibers connecting the ends . Unfortunately we ended throwing it out

Worth it

This shape is on the more expensive side of the Beco toys, but this is the best one. My dog loves it. Although she's a heavy chewer, this one lasts a lot longer than any of the other hemp toys. It doesn't shed fibers as much as the others. We stocked up!

Not a good option

Our then 8 months boy took it apart very fast and the debris were all over. In addition with the dog' s saliva the toy smelled like gas. We asked if this was the smell of the hemp, which would be OK, or if it was an added
ingredient, but we never got a response.

Hi Michele, we are sorry to hear that this toy isn't working out as well as you had hoped! We haven't gotten an inquiry regarding the scent, but natural Hemp can smell very strongly when ripped apart because it's not treated with any added chemicals. For a more durable option for your pup, many have enjoyed our Routh and Tough toys!
