Tensile strength is aqequate

The first time I tried to open one, I tore part of the top lip of the bag above the zipper. I was still able to open and use the bag, but probably be a little more careful with these than with normal ones. That said, it marinated my dinner just fine and I intend to keep using these for things that contaminate a bag beyond reuse (e.g. marinating meat).

Love these as a replacement to plastic bags

I'm getting my household weaned off of plastic bags as we shift over to stasher and Biobag's family of compostable zip bags. These are great when you want to store something and toss the bag after use, and when our stasher bags are all in use. Love love love these.
