Bamboo Toothbrush - Adult - Zero Waste Toothbrush, Plastic Free, Compostable, Castor Bean Bristles

We've been purchasing these from another zero waste store for years and were glad to find them on Earth Hero! The multi-packs have worked well for our family. When the bristles get frayed and no longer work great for our teeth, we love to use them for cleaning before prepping them for the compost facility.

This toothbrush gets the job done, yet I find it to be too chunky in my mouth. If the bamboo around the bristles was a bit thinner and had more rounded edges, I’d love it. As it currently is, though, it isn’t comfortable—rubbing my tongue dry, clanking against my teeth in tighter spaces.

It works great and I love that it’s made from bamboo! The only reason I didn’t give it all five stars is that the bristles are a little bit harder than I’d like, but it’s still worth it!

Bamboo toothbrushes are a lifesaver for the environment over their plastic alternatives. There's a bunch of companies that make them now, and I've tried a number of them over time. This one is a solid choice - the shaping of the bristles and their layout offers good coverage, they're soft enough not to scratch but firm enough to do the job well, and there's no weird feeling when the handle gets wet, which sometimes happens with bamboo handles.
