After I ran out of disposables I didn’t shave for over a year. Finally decided it was time, so I bought this. I was worried about the learning curve but it was a piece of cake. Smoothest shave ever and no ingrowns!

I've used disposable razors my whole life, the ones where you keep the handle but replace the plastic razor heads as needed. One thing about switching to a safety razor is you do not need to press on your skin in order to shave, with my old razor I sometimes had to press down on the skin and go over areas multiple times with the razor in order to shave- with a safety razor if you catch yourself applying pressure to the razor it means your blade is dull and you need to change it. Other razors like my old razor also have rotatable heads, as you go up and down your leg, they'll sort of adapt to the natural curve of your leg or armpit, but safety razors have fixed heads that don't move. All this means is you have to pay a little more attention in relation to where the blade is to your skin and make sure you're actually shaving your hair and not just rubbing a metal part of the handle up and down your leg rather than the razor itself. Before shaving I recommend watching some youtube videos on how to angle the razor, seriously helped me the first time I did it but making the switch has saved me a lot of money- I bought one pack of razor blades and the short blade handle a year ago and have not spent a single cent on shaving materials since then. I've gone through probably 8 razor blades in the past 9 months, that being said I don't shave every day or even every week so I still have a ton of razor blades left and it will probably be years before I spend any money on shaving.

This razor is seriously my favorite one I’ve ever owned! Cleaning it out is a breeze and only takes seconds. If you’re on the fence, get it!! You won’t regret it
