Care: The combs are coated with a plant based natural wax when made to help protect them. We recommend treating your comb occasionally with natural wood oil or olive oil to condition the wood. As the wood ages, it will turn into beautiful shades of green.

Just what I was looking for!

This comb is perfect for what I was looking for when it comes to a new wide-toothed comb for my curly hair. So far it has worked very well in my (usually damp) hair and I'm looking forward to continue to use it for years to come. It arrived in time and was just as described on the website. No complaints!

Almost perfect

I love the width of the teeth, the handle fits perfectly in my hand, and the wood is satin smooth. Unfortunately, I have had to order two within six months because I dropped the first one and the handle broke off. I'm not sure if that is a construction issue or just the natural way wood grain splits.
