Description

The agave plant just added one more exciting gig to it's already impressive resume...a strong and durable textile.  The Long Handled Agave Dish Brush is a versatile and attractive tool that is begging to replace your tired plastic scrubbers. With a detachable and replaceable agave bristle head, you'll be able to get in to every nook and cranny as well as have a wallet friendly option that is always ready to tackle a task.  The handle is made from fast-growing bamboo, which is a great alternative to plastic. We're so in love with it's aesthetic and ability to handle the toughest jobs, we keep one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom!

Care: Add a small amount of soap to a cup of vinegar and soak your brush in the liquid for about 10 minutes to kill germs and remove bacteria; Rinse with hot water; Lay brush bristles down to dry. We recommend oiling the wood once every few months. *Keep handle from soaking in water for long periods to extend the life of your brush. Each brush can last 6 months to 2 years depending on usage.

Materials: Sustainably grown teak wood, and agave fiber that is grown, harvested and sun dried using traditional techniques.

End of Life: Each brush head can be used for 3+ months. Once worn out, replace the head. The wood and agave parts can be composted or buried in your garden and the silver metal part can be recycled.

Replacement heads are good, brush isn't durable

I have had to buy two replacements for the handle which defeats the purpose of buying a brush with replaceable heads. The heads are good which is why I'm rating this 5 stars.

Great product but tiny handle

Overall, this long handle brush is nice and we love that the brush head can be replaced when worn. However, the handle is so thin that it’s a bit difficult to use sometimes. It’s almost like trying to use a standard office pen as the long handle for a dish brush. I’m sure others with small hands or tons of dexterity will be fine, but it would be much better with a thicker handle. The “Bottle Brush” is an example of what I’m saying is better handle thickness.

Love these brush head refills!

These replaceable heads are long-lasting, not-too-soft-not-too-hard, easy to replace and I can place the old ones in my industrial compost bin through the city. Thank you ZWS!
