Mineral Toothpaste Tablets

I love this toothpaste. I have found it to be an effective cleaner and breath freshener.

I was excited to try it but it tastes horrible

Terrible salty, gritty taste and texture. Really wanted to like it and use it while camping, but no.

I feel pretty bummed that the packaging included styrofoam. The packaging could have been safe in other ways for the glass container.

I was a littke unsure about the toothpaste tablets. However i am very impressed. Never going back to the tube toothpaste

I thought I would branch out from the brand I typically go for and I won’t make that mistake again. These were quite bitter and chalky.

If you have tried the regular toothpaste tablets you may not like the mineral kind. There is no foam when you brush with the mineral tablets. If you like using baking soda for brushing, it is similar to that.

I’ve been slowly switching to these tablets and wow- what an interesting experience. Most reviews said to be prepared for the taste difference and I thought I was! Please be warned that the charcoal tablets are very bitter to begin with and take time to get used to. I highly recommend them, just be prepared! Great experience so far so we’ll see what the long term benefits are.

I liked so much about this product to start - the naturalness, the lack of any kind of sugar, the charcoal, the way it bubbles to start the brushing process, and even the taste was interesting. But it stops there. My teeth after one week didn't feel clean. They felt like they had this gross film on them that didn't come off with brushing with my old toothpaste. It took two brushings to get part of the buildup off. This product is great in theory and if it actually worked, I would be a loyal brand subscriber. But this toothpaste doesn't do the inherit job of toothpaste - it doesn't actually clean your teeth.

This was my first time trying out toothpaste tablets and I am not sure I am 100% sold on these. Although I don't have another brand to compare them to, I was surprised that they are kind of salty? That being said, my teeth do feel clean after using them even though they don't suds up like normal toothpaste does.

Like the freshness of my mouth after using these tablets. They taste a bit like baking soda powder at first but after a few uses I didn’t notice that. Better than sweet toothpastes. I will definitely buy them again!

I wish I'd read the reviews sooner, I'm not sure how some are fans but I really struggled with the taste of this toothpaste. It's *painful*. The residue also seems to get everywhere, I mixed them with tablets I already had and it made them almost intolerable as well.

i was quite excited to try these as they seem to be quite popular and well thought of in the low waste crowd. they had a very strong peppermint scent, but disappointingly had very little peppermint flavour. mostly tasted like baking soda. they did foam up nicely and my teeth felt really clean afterwards and the glass jar will be handy for decanting other low waste tooth tabs into

Ordered the charcoal ones. Tastes not great. But whitens your teeth (after one use) and makes them feel clean, which is really all you need right? Even my 8 year old said “wow my teeth are so white!” After she used it one time!

I prefer getting more mint than fizz and baking soda...it just wasn't for me

I like these, but I feel like I need at least 2 tablets to generate enough to get a thorough brushing, otherwise not sure if i get good enough coverage. I like the powder better but am trying these due to less “mess.”

Fresh, effective, love the flavor!

You bite and crush them, they fizz (citric acid fizz) in your mouth, wet your brush, and good to go. The peppermint flavor is overall lacking (which is fine for me; I HATE obsessive peppermint). Took about a week of brushing to adjust to the salty fizz. I now prefer the fizz to standard Pastes’ “foam” as foam would usually make me gag-THESE DO NOT.
If you can get through the salty fizz, they leave the mouth feeling clean.

i got the charcoal tablets and they are bitter but they do a good job! i dont mind it once i got used to them

I like this product in spearmint, but the English peppermint was so sour that I couldn't use it.

Zero waste and organic ingredients are the selling features of these salty tablets. I’m trying to get used to them.

Toothpaste Tablets

I have been trying to find ways to reduce the plastic in my life, so I decided to give these toothpaste tablets a try. They have a very strong peppermint flavor, but that quickly goes away once I start brushing (bummer). I was surprised that there’s not much froth when using them, but my teeth feel sparkly clean when I’m done brushing, so it’s all good! I feel good knowing I’m doing my part to help the planet.

Glad I made the switch to these tablets - it took a minute to adjust, but I like how clean they leave my teeth.

The taste and texture take some getting used to. The product will pop/fiz in your mouth. It has a strong baking soda like taste/texture. I really like this product because it gets the job done, but I find it best to use 2 tablets at a time to fully clean my mouth. I've used other tablets or “clean” toothpaste that don't sufficiently clean my teeth.

I am pleased with the packaging and the products, however, the taste and the performance of the product was a disappointment. I got the peppermint flavor and it is anything but peppermint. Everything is very salty and almost repulsive. Unfortunately I got a few months worth of tablets so I will be chewing on them for awhile. Maybe the charcoal is better!

Its a shocking taste at first but after using it for 3 months you realize how chemically toothpaste tastes and how much it lingers. The tablets are also more convenient and less messy. I see other reviews about the mess in the sink but a splash of water and its gone, even with the charcoal.

This has a noxious salty flavor that I instantly had to get out of my mouth. Would not recommend.
