Not for me

Agree with the other reviews about the thick consistency, effectiveness and "greasiness". I had a hard time spreading the sunscreen to make it blend in with my skin better and it made me look notably oily for the rest of the day. Had to use ton of soap to get the stuff off. Love the concept but this alternative doesn't work for me.

Love the consistency but..

This is really nice to apply but like other reviewers said, it is pretty thick and and does not dry down. It remains on the oily/shiny side and is VERY hard to get off, which I hate the most. The first time I tried it, I wasn’t expecting it to be so hard to remove from my face and literally I got out of the shower with the same texture on my face as I did when I stepped in. I had to rub my hands over my face to get the pilling off :/
As a sunscreen, it works great to protect from burning. Totally waterproof, as you’ve heard LOL.
I really wanted to love this, and I will continue to use it till it’s done, but I will not be repurchasing.

didn't enjoy it much

Ok, so as a sunscreen, it does get the job done and keeps my skin from burning.
However, as someone who has oily skin on her face, I HATE how it feels, it never "settles down" or dries or anything, at most it just turns from an oily consistency to a creamy one,but never really settles properly, and it's such a pain to remove from my face.. I end up feeling so greasy and take ages to wash it off (with soap).
Another issue is that it always makes my face feel itchy or it stings a bit, idk why, but i hate it.
However, I do enjoy using it on the rest of my body, it's tolerable considering my body is usually dry (living in a desert hot area), but I hate how it gets on my clothes and a pain to wash off with some fabrics.

Overall it isn't bad, but it isn't great, and I'm gonna have to go back to using my standard plastic sunscreens for my face, and only using this for my body :(

Love the Plastic-Free Option

I love most things about this sunscreen -- it smells great (not fragrant, like perfume, but pleasant, like a muscle balm), it feels great and it comes in a recyclable tin! The one drawback is how thick it is. I often end up rubbing my arms raw trying to get the white paste look to blend into my dark skin. Still on the fence about re-buying, but appreciate that it exists!
