Description

Our concentrated organic apple cider vinegar rinse is infused with herbs and essential oils which have amazing benefits for your hair and scalp! It is great for doing a deep-condition once every few week. Each 9oz bottle will last months, and is made with vegan, cruelty free, non-GMO, and certified organic ingredients!

This rinse is meant to be used in place of conditioner once every few weeks/month. It should not be used after every wash.

Benefits of our Apple Cider Vinegar rinse on hair:

  • Lavender essential oil helps with scalp conditions like dandruff and dry, flaky scalp and stimulates the scalp to promote hair growth. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that may help with irritated scalp conditions and hair loss.

  • Rosemary strengthens hair follicles, stimulates hair growth, deeply conditions hair and helps treat scalp conditions like dandruff, improves blood flow to the scalp, and adds shine.

  • Ylang ylang stimulates the scalp to encourage hair growth, soothes the scalp, conditions hair and helps balance scalp oil production

  • Thyme oil improves scalp circulation, encourages hair growth and helps treat dandruff

  • Nettle helps decrease breakage and promotes body, bounce, and shine. Nettle hair rinses are an old remedy to help reduce hair loss, encourage hair growth, and balance oil production.

  • Horsetail is nourishing and hydrating, stimulates the scalp and has been used for centuries as a hair growth herb. The silica in horsetail helps to keep hair strong and adds shine to hair.

  • Basil stimulates hair follicles, increases scalp circulation and promotes hair growth. Basil helps protect hair from breakage, its anti-inflammatory properties help soothe the roots and it adds luster to dull hair.

  • Removes residue

How to use: Vinegar rinse should be diluted

  • Shake well before use
  • Add 8 ounces warm water to cup or spray bottle
  • Add 1-4 tablespoons of herbal vinegar and mix or shake
  • pour or spray through wet hair after shampooing (in place of conditioner)
  • take care to avoid eyes
  • massage into hair and scalp, paying attention to ends
  • let sit for a couple minutes
  • rinse, or for extra conditioning, leave in and towel dry (vinegar scent will disappear as hair dries)
  • for long thick hair, recipe can be doubled
  • for short thin hair, recipe can be halved
  • experiment to find a dilution that works best for your hair type. dry hair likes less vinegar and oily hair likes more.

Great for Oily Hair

I've been on the shampoo bar train for about 2 years now. I have oily hair, always have and it required me to either wash every other day or shove it under a hat. I had my hair short for awhile but have been growing it out with the pandemic. I was noticing that sometimes, even by the end of the day, my hair was already building up oil. So I gave the rinse a try. Oh my, it's amazing. First off, it smells like you walked into a spa and the vinegar smell is light but there. I used 3 tablespoons for my first rinse. I put it in a large tea mug and dipped the ends of my hair in for a bit and then poured the rest over my head, massaged in it, rinsed it out. Super easy. The smell I thought was great and my hair looked completely different after my shower. I blew dry and straightened it and it felt much healthier at the roots. I think 3 tablespoons may have been a bit too much for my ends because they felt a little dry. It will definitely take some tweaking, but it made my hair so much happier. If you're have a hard time with the natural shampoos, I highly recommend this!

Apple Cider Vinegar Hair RInse

Overall, I liked the product and I did think it stripped my hair, it was just a slight inconvenience to have to dilute the product when I was traveling and did not have access to a cup I could use. Overall though, would buy the product again, I should have read the label prior to packing it on my work trip, I was just too eager to try it.
