Description

Tired of having to toss your nasty plastic scrubber after each time you have to wash a particularly gruesome dish? This zero-waste and compostable long-handled scrubbing brush with a detachable head will solve all your grimy woes. Its handle is made from bamboo which can grow up to 3ft per day and the bristles are made from none other than the ever-versatile agave plant.

Care: Add a small amount of soap to a cup of vinegar and soak your brush in the liquid for about 10 minutes to kill germs and remove bacteria; Rinse with hot water; Lay brush bristles down to dry. We recommend oiling the wood once every few months. * Keep handle from soaking in water for long periods to extend the life of your brush. Each brush can last 6 months to 2 years depending on usage.

End of Life: The scrub head can be used for 3+ months. When the handle reaches the end of its days, they can be composted in any composting system. The metal handle can be recycled.

Materials: Sustainably grown bamboo, sun-dried agave fiber bristles.

Nice to use, sturdy.

They are smaller than what I expected but very sturdy. Bristles are strong enough to scrape food.

My favorite

I bought several different styles of brush and the long handled dish brush is my go to for all my cast iron skillets. It’s scrubby enough to clean but doesn’t scratch the seasoning.
