Not Very Absorbent

Reading other reviews before buying, I was a little skeptical of these cloths but wanted to try them out anyway as a paper towel alternative. Unfortunately I had a similar experience where the towels did not absorb much liquid and instead just pushed it around. Even after trying the dampen them first, as Zero Waste Store recommended, it didn't feel like much cleaning up was happening and I was somehow just ending up with sopping towels and still a mess on the counter. For now they just sit rolled up on my counter behind my regular roll of paper towels.

These are the best

I bought set last year on a whim. I loved them. I bought regular paper towels for really gross messes. But I found that I didn't need them. After the fross mess, just rinse, let dry and throw into the wash. This year I bought a set of 12 both in gray and white.
They are perfect. I have not bought regular paper towels since.
My advice: Buy them. Use them. You'll love them.

Love em!

I have been really enjoying my unpaper towels. This is actually my second purchase of them, after I stained a few and started using them as rags instead. The comments about them getting more absorbent with additional washes and uses is absolutely accurate though, so a little patience is needed when getting used to them.
