Love the concept but not very absorbent

Love the concept of using less paper towels…. As I use a lot of them. I tried the unpaper towels and I find they aren’t as absorbent as paper towels. Paper towels absorb water instantly where the unpaper towels take a bit of time and sometime need to be pre-wetted to work quickly. I’ll continue to use them as they are the right thing to do but hoping better technology comes out to make them absorb faster. They do wash up very nicely.

Love them!

They are smaller than I expected. We bought these to replace some very old microfiber cloths that just take up more space. Great with vinegar spray to clean windows/mirrors, great to wipe up spills in the kitchen. I bought some for myself and 2 sets as gifts. Would recommend!

The BEST!

I don’t know what I was expecting when I bought these but they are so much better than I could of ever thought! They’re so soft and I think they work BETTER then paper towels! I’m so glad I found these and I’m going to be buying a TON more!

Not Absorbent-better suited as dusting cloths

I ordered these in place of paper towels, which are typically used to wipe up liquid spills. These cloths do not absorb water well at all. They seem to just smear the spill around, and then I end up wiping the same spot down with kitchen towel. I will be using them for dusting cloths, because the material works well for that!

We understand where you're coming from. The unpaper towels fabric is not pre-washed, so it is least absorbent during the first few uses, but cotton flannel gets thicker and more absorbent after a few washes! For the unpaper towels, they cling better once the fabric has had a chance to pill. Pilling is totally normal. That is exactly how cotton flannel washes and what helps the products to function better. As they pill they gain texture which helps with cleaning, absorption and cling. I hope this helps, please email us at info@zerowastestore.com if you have any further questions!

Great little towels

WE have been using these for about a year - they hold up well, work well and go thru the wash well. All 12 of our original order are still in use. Only use paper towels now to mop up grease or oil so one roll lasts months instea of days.
Bought a pack for each daughter and daughter in law for Christmas. Along with a few more of my "favorite things" in the kitchen.
